Screws Loose

Product Safety, Upkeep, and Maintenance

Weekly:

Tighten or loosen trucks to adjust carving style and ride.

Check tightness of wheels to assure safety

Monthly:

Wash board, scrub grip tape, and polish diamond plate.  Use a bit of dish soap in a bucket with water and a medium bristle brush to scrub board and then rinse thoroughly. Dry board before polishing diamond plate.

We use Mother’s brand aluminum polish for your diamond plate tip and tail.  First, spread a coat across entire diamond plate section using circular motion. Next, use a soft paper towel or old t-shirt to continue wiping in circular motion until all mothers residue is off of diamond plate.  You will constantly need to use a new section of rag because the polish will discolor it.  Finally, use a clean paper towel to do one final clean of any excess residue off of metal.  Repeat process on other side of board.

Wheel washing:

Remove wheels as shown and also remove bearings.  In a small bucket make a mixture of Hot water and dish soap.  Allow wheels to soak in water for 10-20 minutes depending how dirty they were.  Take a wheel out of bucket and scrub with either hard-bristle brush or scrubbing sponge.  Scrub until clean and then rinse.  Repeat process.  Once all wheels are clean allow them to dry completely before re-installing bearings or putting back on board.

Now you have the cleanest board on the streets!!
